MORENO SAEZ, S.L. is a family company that was set up by Mr. V.
Samuel Moreno Saez in 1962 when he separated from the Cured Meat
Factory he and his brother inherited from their father, Mr. Baldomero
Moreno, in a town in La Rioja (Spain).
The cured meat
factory was established in Soria mainly due to the exceptional climate
of this land which is ideal for the natural curing and drying of
cold meats. Soria sits on the Castilian plateau, raised approximately
1,000 metres above sea level. This location gives it a very cold
and extremely dry continental climate, which makes it ideal for
the drying and natural curing of cold meats and adobados (cured
meats) that are produced in this area. These factors allow our region
to lead the Chorizo production in Spain and make it renowned for
the high quality products that are produced.
Our work philosophy
is based on manufacturing high-quality products using processes
that are as natural as possible, with traditional ingredients that
undergo a rigorous selection process and are cured by being placed
in contact with air and charcoal heat in our natural drying sheds.
Thanks to this, we offer our clients quality traditional products
that taste of the excellent flavour of our land and our company’s
well doing.
